SME Bank Takes a Full Force on the Strong Loan Scheme
Joins NCB to Open Another Credit Bureau Service at the First Floor, SME Bank Tower
 
SME Bank is taking a full force on the Strong Loan Scheme under the Prachapiwat project by adding the Credit Bureau service at the first floor of SME Bank Tower to accommodate SME operators. More than 700 SME operators have requested for more information and are ready to submit the loan application.
 
The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME Bank) plans to support the government and urges SME operators to apply for the Strong Loans under the Prachapiwat project that includes taxi drivers, motorcycle taxi drivers, and street vendors. The fund allocation for this loan scheme is 11 billion Baht. Since January 20th, there have been a lots of interests and queries after the official announcement of this loans on February 14th, 2011. There are more than 700 individuals that have shown interests or approximately 400 million in the loan request. The Bank, therefore, would like to accommodate and better serve SME operators by joining force with the National Credit Bureau (NCB) to help SME operators with the credit scores as a preparation before submitting the application.
