SME D Bank launches electric motorcycles for use in receiving and sending documents. Reduce carbon emissions Responding to the needs of driving organizations towards sustainability

The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand or SME D Bank   drives organizations along the path of sustainability. Taking into account the environment, society and governance or ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) by launching “Electric Motorcycle Project SME Bank EV.BCG”  all motorcycles used to receive and send bank documents will be “Electric motorcycles” which will help reduce the release of carbon dioxide into nature throughout the year by more than 28276.39 kg CO2e/kg and will also be a part of reducing pollution that affects the environment. In addition, it will also help take care of people’s health and support ” Net Zero 2065″ goal towards sustainable growth of Thailand on the world stage.

 

In addition, SME D Bank continues to carry out other sustainable development projects, such as the energy-saving light bulb replacement project. Project to install solar cells for lighting in the parking area of the main office building. Installing a sensor to automatically turn off the lights when not in use Project to reduce paper use Printer replacement project, e-Office project, internal document receiving and sending system and electronic signatures Waste reduction and electronic waste disposal project and a campaign project to create knowledge, understanding and cooperation on sustainability among personnel throughout the organization.In addition, SME D Bank continues to carry out other sustainable development projects, such as the energy-saving light bulb replacement project.
